From Dusk to Dawn is a series of artwork inspired by the artist's observation of the skies generating different shades of colors throughout the day. This is the artist’s attempt to capture the eternal feeling that she feels during these fleeting moments – as if time were standing still, shining and endeavouring the entire space in light and shadow. In this creation, the artist utilises hand-dyed fabric alongside abstract embroidery to embrace the wabi-sabi practice of finding beauty in the ordinary and imperfections. Viewers will be able to see how certain fabric seams are intentionally left to fray, and the accidental splatters of dye left behind in the process of creating the artwork.
